Grant has previously taught at several leading academies around London, including Mountview, The American Musical Theatre Academy, Bodywork Company Dance Studio, East 15 and ArtsEd London, and can also be found working as a jazz pianist, whilst maintaining his passion for composing and performing original material.
Grant graduated from the University of Hertfordshire with a degree in Music, Commercial Composition and Technology. He was Musical Director on the UK/Hong Kong tour of ‘Avenue Q’, and was Associate MD on the national tour of ‘Seven Brides for Seven Brothers’. Previous shows include Into The Woods; The Drowsy Chaperone; Copacabana; Spring Awakening; Rent; Little Shop of Horrors; La Cage Aux Folles and Putting It Together, along with prominent pantomimes including The Grove Theatre and the Theatre Royal Bury St. Edmunds. Grant spent several years as Musical Director for Royal Caribbean International, arranging for the orchestras and leading the music programme across several ships. He continues to work in that industry via Live Business as their Musical Supervisor and orchestrator.
