Our people have helped to create our legacy as a top-tier casting Academy.
They are all responsible for turning our diverse talent into well-rounded, high-calibre performers. They are all individually connected to our vision in different ways, each with unique perspectives and approaches to implementing it… Kinda like a family.
Our people are industry professional with a passion for teaching and facilitating greater access for all; experienced performers with a deeper understanding of training and careers in the performing arts; knowledgeable partners that provide support and guidance that ensure Urdang continues to meet great success; highly-trained academic professionals with a talent for marrying the applied with the academic; fearless leaders who seek every opportunity to break barriers so that our students can grow.
We can’t do them all justice in a single introduction, so follow through to the profiles of our Directors, Staff and Patrons to find out how they make a difference at Urdang.

Faculty
An impressive and talented roster of faculty and tutors
We understand the value and balance of experience and teaching skills, with many tutors still pursuing performance careers as dancers, actors, singers, directors and choreographers in the industry. Students continue to have significant and positive exposure to industry leaders. A large number of guest professionals, West End casting directors and choreographers are invited to the Academy to work with and talk to the students as part of the musical theatre programme, for performance assessments and mock auditions.
