On the audition day candidates will spend all day at the Urdang and get the chance to speak to staff and current students. Parents/guardians will also be given an introductory talk by staff at the beginning of the day.

Our constantly evolving course helps Urdang maintain a legacy of diversity and versatility.
With a programme for every performer and a mission to nurture everyone individual, our courses attract diverse students with varying raw talents and training interests and turn them into versatile performers who possess an invaluable global understanding of the performing arts. The evolutionary nature of our courses means our students graduate with the most current training possible and consistently meet industry needs, setting them up for long and successful careers in the performing arts.
Our courses include:
- A single year Foundation Course in Dance and Musical Theatre for students to develop their skills and prepare for auditions into top vocational colleges
- A three-year BA (Hons) Degree in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre awarded by Anglia Ruskin University during which students train for a career in the performing arts through technical training and academic study
- A three-year Level 6 Diploma in Professional Dance or Musical Theatre during which students train for a career in the performing arts through applied studies
- A two-year fully funded Level 3 OCR Diploma in Performing Arts during which students can gain up to 112 UCAS points whilst training in all practical subjects.
Our full-time courses offer training in a professional environment with our highly regarded teaching staff, including West End choreographers, directors, musical directors and performers.
As well as the above full-time courses, we are also pleased to offer a new Level 4 Diploma in Dance Education (DDE), delivered on a part-time basis. The teaching qualification is aimed at graduates from vocational colleges and professional performers.
